The Rochelle Lees Band is a well-known covers band that has thrilled audiences in the Byron Bay, Gold Coast and Brisbane regions of Australia.
The band that plays hits from the 60's to today's chart toppers. For the last twelve years The Rochelle Lees Band have won over audiences with their special flavour of fun and high energy performances.
The Rochelle Lees Band has extensive experience performing at weddings and Christmas parties for corporate companies such as: Commonwealth Bank, Target, Bunnings, Soul and Pattinson and Queensland International Business Academy.
OUR MUSICAL JOURNEY
The Rochelle Lees Band has recently expanded their brand to write their own pop originals, which have gained a wild response from audiences and critics alike.
The group is fronted by the charismatic and cheeky Rochelle Lees, who won Best Female Vocalist in Accelerator 2002. In the same year, Rochelle was a Finalist in the Songwriting Category. The competition saw Rochelle achieve high rotation with her original tune 'I've Got What it Takes' on commercial radio station ZZZFM. She has since teamed up with producer and songwriter Lachlan Renwick (bass/keys) to front the group and develop a commercial pop sound alongside Matt Day (songwriter/guitarist) and Alex Kilroy (drummer).
POP- ORIGINAL MUSIC
The band has been developing their own original music and are currently developing their first album 'Dirty Pop.'
In 2015, The Rochelle Lees Band won Best Pop Song at the NCEIA Dolphin Awards with their infectious tune, 'Tell Me It's Over' mixed by by Paul Pilsneniks (Angus & Julia Stone, Boy & Bear, George, Alanis Morrisette & Silverchair) and mastered by Tom Coyne (Taylor Swift, Adele, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars). The same song was also short-listed as a finalist in Pop category in the prestigious Australian Independent Music Awards (AIMAS) 2016, which saw the band walk the red carpet in Sydney.

In 2016, they continued to build their sound and interest in the group continued to strengthen, as they were nominated Finalists in the NCEIA Dolphin Awards for

- Finalist in the Adult Contemporary section for their art pop tune 'Jealousy (Let it Go).

The Rochelle Lees Band BEST POP SONG 2017 @ North Coast Music Industry Association Awards with 'I Should Have Told You (That I Love You)' a future release in pre-production and their songs 'Boys' and 'Tell Me It's Over' have been nominated as Finalists in The Australian Music Industry Association Awards 2017. The Rochelle Lees Band are the only Australian group to have two nominations in the Pop/Dance Category.
The band has recently spent time in Hollywood, Los Angeles in January and April 2017, mingling with like-minded artists and sought career advice from the top industry professionals. Here, they were mentored and listened to the career advice of iconic and prolific songwriters and producers such as: The Grammy Award Winning Stevie Wonder, Alo Black ('Wake Me Up' Avcii), Desmond Child (Bon Jovi) Greg Welles (producer Adele, Katy Perry, Keith Urban, Arianna Grande).
